Chris Dewaal, Youth Pastor
Hello and welcome to First Baptist Church! My name is Christopher Dewaal and it is my privilege to serve as the Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church. My passion and heart is for every student to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, respond to God's invitation with faith, and grow in maturity as a devoted follower of Jesus. I know from personal experience the joys and perils that will take place during adolescence. My heart is to be a guide for students as they journey through life; pointing them to a God who loves them greater then they can imagine. I am excited you are checking out our web page, but I would like more to meet you in person. Select to view video.
About the Youth Ministry
The teenage years are often a roller coaster of emotions and experiences: excitement and exhaustion, adventure and anguish, triumphs and tears, joy and jealousy. The youth ministry is here to walk with students through the highs and lows of adolescence, and to share with them the living hope that is found only in Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to providing a place of refuge for students during the storms of life and to providing a place where they will encounter the Living God.
