Ronda Karroll, Children's Director Here at First Baptist Church we believe that every child is a gift from God. Our goal is to teach each and every child God's Word and the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Once a child has this relationship the training continues to teach them how to walk with God daily and grow in their knowledge of Him and His Creation. We have programs for preschool thru sixth grade focusing on Scripture Memory and applying God's Word to real life situations. We would be blessed to minister to your children. Children's News We are blessed to have been entrusted by God with the responsibility to properly prepare our children for the many challenges ahead. Therefore, one of our church’s most important goals is to build a generation of kids who see its potential in Christ. That is why we offer age-appropriate activities and relevant learning experiences taken directly from God’s Word. Please ask about our many children’s activities, including, Bible Skills Drills & Thrills and Big Time Tuesdays. On Wednesday evenings, we learn about the Bible and memorize Scripture in order to hide God's Word in our hearts so that we will not sin against him. Our church is a fun place for children, and there is a cherished place for them here! Bible Skills, Drills & Thrills Resumes September 1st from 6:00-7:30. This is for K through 5th Grade. The van will be running so if they need a ride please contact the church at 382-2022 Discipleland Pre-School The Pre-School Program called DiscipleLand This is for 3 and 4 year olds. They meet Sundays from 6:00-7:15. The teacher is Lesley Knight. They will also meet Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 starting September 1st. The teachers for Wednesday are Kathy Brown and Rosa Brown. Kid's Travel Guide to Fruit of the Spirit Sunday nights beginning June 13th Kindergarten through Fifth Grade will be going through a study entitled Kid's Travel Guide to Fruit of the Spirit.
